Where is Bongaka Health located?

Bongaka Health is located at Plot 2870 Church Road, Extension 10, Gaborone.

What services do you offer?

Our services include but not limited to medical consultation, chronic & lifestyle diseases management, skin care, travel health, medical examinations, occupational health & employee wellness, occupational health and ISO 45001 audits, screening audiometry, vision screening, spirometry, ECG, ultrasound, laboratory, and health education and promotion.

Do you need an appointment or can you just walk in?

It is advisable to book an appointment, however you could walk in. Patients with appointment will be given priority, unless incase of an emergency.

Do you have after hours care?

Our clinic is open Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00 and Saturday 08:00 to 13:00. If you are having an emergency outside our opening hours, please go to the nearest hospital.

How do I join the clinic as a new patient?

We welcome new patient. To join the clinic as a new patient you will need to complete our registration form at the reception on arrival. Please bring your ID and medical aid card along with you to the clinic.

What does the Travel Clinic do?

During travel you may be exposed to diseases that can threaten your health. It is important to know the disease you may be exposed to so that you are well prepared to prevent the preventable and those you acquire are well managed. We provide comprehensive travel health services for both local and international travellers including fitness to travel certification, pre-travel health assessment, post travel consultation, travel vaccinations such as yellow fever and Covid-19 PCR testing.

How do I obtain my test results?

For all the tests done within the facility, we will contact you when the test results are ready. For all the tests done outside our facility, please check with that facility if you will need to collect the results or they will be delivered to our facility. You will need to see the doctor to explain the test result to you.

Do you offer health education?

We offer free health talks to companies, government departments and communities to increase health awareness and contribute towards reducing burden of diseases in our country. The health talks could be held at your organisation or virtually through online platform.

What if I cannot attend my appointment?

If you are unable to attend your appointment please contact us at 391 9900 or 74018392 to cancel or reschedule if required. We appreciate it when you cancel appointments, even at short-notice as these can be offered to other patients.

Do you accept medical aid schemes?

We accept the following medical aid schemes: Bomaid, Botsogo, Bpomas & Pulamed

Do you attend to clients without medical aid cover?

Yes. The clients without medical aid cover would be required to pay for their own medical expenses.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, swipe, and electronic bank transfer.

What is Bongaka Employee Wellness?

Bongaka Employee Wellness is an occupational health and wellness service. This is where we deal with worker health from their general health and wellness and work related diseases and injuries. We provide services such as medical examinations, fitness to work assessment, hazard identification and risk assessment (HIRA), occupational health audits, employee assistance program (EAP), wellness day events.

Do you offer flu vaccination?

Yes. Every year flu vaccination is available. Please book you appointment for your flu vaccination.

What is Know Your Blood Pressure Campaign?

Know Your Blood Pressure Campaign is an initiative by Bongaka health to encourage the public to know their blood pressure. We offer free blood pressure screening at our clinic to facilitate prevention, early detection and management of high blood pressure. You can walk-in at any time during working hours to have your blood pressure checked.
