    Vitiligo is a skin disorder in which the skin cell melanocytes that produce melanin are destroyed by the body's immune system which then causes the skin to lose its colour and resulting in whitish, smooth patches on the skin.

    This year, 2025, the theme for World Vitiligo Day is "Innovation for Every Skin, Powered by AI". It highlights that vitiligo diagnosis, treatment, and patient care are being revolutionized by artificial intelligence.

    Regardless of whether gloves are worn or not, hand hygiene at the right times and in the right way, is still one of the most important measures to protect those receiving care as well as health and care workers.

    Hemophilia is a rare, genetic bleeding disorder characterized by a partial or total deficiency of a clotting factor, leading to a tendency to bleed into various tissues in the body.

    This year’s theme, “Access for All: Women and Girls Bleed Too,” calls for greater equity in diagnosis, care, and treatment. Despite facing similar challenges, many women and girls living with bleeding disorders remain undiagnosed, misunderstood, and underserved.

    Down syndrome usually causes varying degrees of intellectual and physical disability and associated medical issues.
    World Down Syndrome Day is a day on which we celebrate the beautiful individuals with Down syndrome and the love, joy and strength they bring into the world.

    World Down Syndrome Day 2025 is all about "Improve our Support Systems", a message which aims at raising awareness about the support needs of those with Down Syndrome and those who care for them.
