Dr Boitumelo Pule-Kitchin is a general medical practitioner with more than 17 years experience in medicine. She obtained her medical degree from Trinity College Dublin in 2005. She furthered studies by obtaining the following qualifications:

• Post graduate diploma in practical dermatology at Cardiff University, United Kingdom in 2013.
• Certificate of competence in Travel Medicine, University of Witwatersrand, South Africa 2021.
• ISO45001 Lead auditor, British Standards Institution ,2021
• Post graduate diploma in Occupational Health, University of Witwatersrand, South Africa 2022.
• She is member of the South Africa Society of Travel Medicine and South African Society of Occupational Medicine 

After graduating Dr Pule-Kitchin worked in several hospitals in Ireland for 7 years before relocating to Botswana.  She worked the last 2 years in Ireland as a Medical Registrar. She has worked at Bongaka Health Care since arriving in Botswana, first as a medical officer and later on as the medical director, a position she currently holds. 

She holds leadership roles in the medical fraternity in Botswana. She is a member of the medical board at Botswana Health Professions Council. She has been the Vice Chairperson of Medical Practitioners Group of Botswana for the past 5 years. 

She is a health and fitness enthusiast who believes in preventative medicine and lifestyle modification to combat lifestyle related diseases. She believes exercise is medicine and always encouraging everyone young or old to keep active and live a healthier lifestyle. She is very passionate about health education and has raised awareness though various platforms including radio stations (RB1, RB2, Duma FM) and newspapers. Currently she runs her own Facebook page called “Health and Wellness with Dr Kitchin”.
